Let your children recognise that you have personal interests and pleasures outside the home too. They should not think of you as their property that cannot and should not have any life outside the family. We all need some time to ourselves for a hobby, for relaxation, for friends, and they should understand that this applies to Mom too. It’s all part of growing up.
