I hadn’t, but you may have heard about complementary and Alternative medicine. I have heard of the Alternative medicine, but not complementary. What’s amazing to me is that I’ve only heard half the term, yet, it’s the fastest growing segment of medicine. It’s growing so fast because an increasing number of people are getting fed up with conventional medicine.
Many people that are on prescription medications say that the side effects of the medcations are worse than the disease they have. In some cases, people have to take more pills just to treat the side effects from other medications. A lot of people are demanding something else. People are ready for a natural, whole-body method of treatment, one that treats them like the human being they are instead of a number or a machine. Complementary and Alternative medicine, or CAM for short, is all of this and more.
